Welcome to Uganda, the Pearl of Africa

Uganda is the hidden gem of East Africa. Untouched, pure, pristine. As a lesser-known, less popular destination, visiting Uganda is a magical experience, where you feel like you have the Garden of Eden just to yourself.

Uganda feels like a warm embrace, a soothing hug. Dramatic, picture-perfect landscapes of the endless savannah, upbeat, joyful, friendly people, bustling, exciting city life, and silent green hills all at once.

I have lived in Uganda on-and-off for three years. It's the country I know the best, as I have visited every single notable destination, from East to West, from North to South. From canoeing on the mystical Lake Bunyonyi, to searching for gorillas in the jungle of Bwindi, and rafting on the wild waters of the Nile, my time in Uganda was the greatest adventure of my life.

My articles about Uganda are rich in details and emotion. As a quasi-expert on touring Uganda, I believe I can make you feel as happy as I felt in the majestic Pearl of Africa.

Lake Bunyonyi is a hidden gem of East Africa. Here's what to do to make it the experience of lifetime.

One of the best things about Uganda is the golf courses. An absolute must-try here, golfing in one of the best golf courses of Uganda is something you won't regret.
